Well I don't want to look up massive amounts of research, but we do grow brain cells as we grow ourselfs in knowledge. However there are cells that don't grow back.

Old Warrior Dood, I'm not sure if you no(know) but where(we’re) not set with a certain amount of cells and that’s(that’s) all we get, our brains produce more cells while we learn new things and improve our current knowledge. Whoever(however) if you get to the point where your just frying your cells on (one) after another that will then cause enough damage that cells will never reproduce and you should just be thankfull (thankful) for the crazy house and enjoy living straped (strapped) to a bed your hole (whole) life in a rubber room, heh.

The process of learning involves the development of new synaptic connections between existing neurons - not the growth of new cells.
Although some limited number of new neurons may develop during a lifetime it is not believed that it results from the accommodation of knowledge. For the most part you're born with all the neurons you're going to ever use. After there it's all downhill....

I was waiting for Xue Yi Liang to show up... I knew our Med Student would come in handy. I only knew that little fact because of Nurse Mrs Dood.

Thanks for the physiology lesson. Aren't you a little too busy to play GW? I'm going to have to drop gaming altogether if and when I qualify in a few months.
The female ova are limited to what you're born with. (since we're talking about cells that don't replicate after birth)
